The “Infraquick Heaters” outdoor heating system incorporates the Philips HeLeN lamp that produces heat through the emission of infrared radiation. As soon as the lamp is switched on, it reaches the maximum power. The expected life of this infrared lamp is between 5.000 and 10.000 hours. The high efficiency provided by the “Infraquick Heaters” is due to the lamp and mostly thanks to the reflector. In order to guarantee the necessary performance, the reflector must spread homogenously the heat. This can be achieved following certain optical criteria and using the suitable materials when manufacturing the reflector. After a meticulous study carried out in collaboration with Philips, the “Infraquick Heaters” reflector has been optimized through the combination of parabolic curves. It is made out of anodizing aluminium, this it is able to reach the maximum efficiency and provide uniformity to the rays’ emission and a wide angle of irradiation.
The heater must be placed in a wall at a minimum height of 1.80 meters, with a rake of 45º and leaving 3 meters between each heater. The heaters distribution depends on the surface available and the environmental conditions.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION :
|
- Reflector: Anodized aluminium
- Dimensions: 600 x 200 x 100 mm

In order to cover the same surface, the infrared heating reaches a higher temperature than the conventional system consuming approximately half energy.
